Sam De Brouwer
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer, XY.AI Labs

At XY.AI Labs
Sam co-founded XY.AI Labs in 2023 with Lamara De Brouwer and runs it today. She sets its thesis: healthcare operations don't need AI that talks, they need AI that executes. Under her the company has moved from a first agent system to an orchestration layer that runs claims, eligibility, prior authorization, payment posting and document workflows in production for providers, payers and health-IT vendors. She has been CEO since February 2025 and a board member since 2023.
She writes most of the company's public thinking, from the case for AI-native operations to what free compute signals about a startup, and represents XY.AI Labs on stage, including the AI Engineer panel with Neo4j.
