Geert Trooskens

Geert leads research at XY.AI Labs. His work is the reason the platform compiles rather than improvises: Compiled AI, the method behind XY's agents, has an LLM generate a workflow's code once, then runs it deterministically, cutting tokens by 57x and latency by 450x against agent loops on the same healthcare tasks.

The same approach runs through the company's fine-tuned document parsers, which read each customer's EOBs and remittances with small, specialized models rather than a frontier model on every call.

Geert holds a PhD in bioengineering from Ghent University, where his research was in epigenetic profiling in cancer. He was a computational biologist at doc.ai and, after its acquisition, Sharecare, Chief Technology Officer at Snowcrash, a founding engineer at HOTG.AI, a bioinformatician at MDxHealth, and founded Wobblebase, a personal genomics company.
